Meet the professionals at NATS Early Careers event

15 November 2016

School leavers and graduates in Hampshire interested in science, maths, technology and engineering are being encouraged to attend a careers event at NATS’ headquarters in Whiteley.

They will have the chance to meet and find about the varied careers of key professionals from across departments at NATS, the UK’s leading air traffic management company, including the simulation team, engineering, operational safety and analytics.

There will be various simulations, presentations and videos on display.

The event is being run by the team leading the Early Careers Scheme, an accredited two-year programme that provides high quality training for graduate, placement, apprentices and engineering technician recruits for NATS.

Vicky Newhouse, Manager for the Early Careers Scheme at NATS, said: “While many people may be aware about the work our air traffic controllers do in keeping the skies safe, this event is a great opportunity for students to learn about job opportunities in the other departments that help keep our operations ticking.

“From engineering and simulations, to finance, project management, training and supply chain management, there are various career opportunities at NATS where you will learn key skills and be developed within the field. It’s a great chance to speak to the professionals and current graduates, placement students and apprentices.”

The careers event on 13 December will run from 6pm to 9pm, split into three one-hour sessions.

There are only 150 spaces available (50 per hour), so register your place now at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/nats-open-evening-tickets-27822277180
