NATS appoints new Director Supply Chain Management

NATS, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic services, has appointed Tim Bullock to the role of Director Supply Chain Management, effective July.

Currently with Royal Mail, Mr Bullock has a broad ranging track record of senior procurement and supply chain roles spanning a number of sectors and blue chip companies, including Sainsbury’s, BAA and Stagecoach.

He will be a member of Managing Director Operations Martin Rolfe’s senior leadership team.

Martin said: “Tim will help move supply chain management at NATS onto the next level. His experience running large procurement operations and projects in highly challenging and commercial organisations will help us unlock greater value in this key area of the business.”

Mr Bullock joins NATS from Royal Mail where, as Head of Procurement – Automation, Marketing & Procurement Service Centre, he made a direct contribution to the company’s cost and modernisation programmes, including the delivery of over £60m of savings through Demand Management.

Prior to Royal Mail, Tim was at BAA where he was responsible for the establishment and delivery of procurement and logistics focused performance improvement intiatives, project delivery and specific change programmes and in his earlier career held positions with Sainsbury’s, having started as a graduate trainee with Stagecoach Holdings.

Tim is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply, a Chartered Member of Institute of Logistics & Transport (CMILT) and a European Senior Logistician, as well as holding a diploma from the Institute Of Logistics & Transport.
