We can train engineers to work at the highest level, capable of operating in high pressure situations to maintain an engineering infrastructure that is a critical part to most national transport systems.

Engineering trainers at NATS are Teacher Accreditation Program (TAP) professionals with specialist system knowledge, skills and understanding required to take apprentice level students all the way to high performance specialist engineers.

To ensure that engineering expertise is developed and maintained NATS trains competent engineers to deliver practical on the job training. Learning theory is taught and demonstrated.

This course is delivered by experienced and accredited professional Trainers. The OJTI course uses a fully interactive delivery technique to provide the fundamental training and communication skills required to plan, prepare and deliver effective 1:1 OJT. Learning theory is taught and demonstrated.

The skills attained on this course are assessed as the student delivers a skills lesson. Whilst delivering this lesson the student monitors their learner’s attitudes and then practices de-briefing skills to evaluate the effectiveness of their OJT lesson.

Delegates should be suitably experienced in the field where instruction is to be given.
