MAG and NATS, the UK’s leading air traffic control provider, have signed an agreement confirming a ten-year contract for air traffic control and engineering services at both Manchester and London Stansted airports.
Icelandic authorities have downgraded the current alert from Red to Orange and the temporary danger area has been cancelled. NATS will continue to monitor the situation.
We are continuing to monitor this dynamic situation, but as there has still not been any volcanic activity above the surface and the size of the temporary danger area in Iceland has been reduced, we are expecting normal operations today.
