Suppliers

Critical for delivering our purpose

Introduction

Our suppliers play a critical role in providing solutions that help us deliver our purpose: Advancing aviation, keeping the skies safe. We work with over a thousand suppliers and partners who provide us with everything we need from specialist air traffic control equipment we use in our centres, airport towers, and remote sites, to facilities management services, IT equipment and professional services.

Our Supply Chain team provide a centralised procurement service and oversee all third-party expenditure within the NATS group. We operate a Category Management approach, where similar types of goods and services are procured by specialist teams. Our team also develops and manages the relationships with our key supplier partners under the ISO44001 Collaborative Business Relationships framework.

As dedicated professionals, our approach, processes, and ways of working are regularly assessed by the CIPS Procurement Excellence Programme. We are proud to say that we have been continuously assessed at the highest level, Platinum, since 2014.

We pride ourselves on the high standards that we expect of ourselves and our suppliers, details of which can be found in our Supplier Charter.
