Information and updates

Under the Transport Act 2000 NATS (En Route) plc (NERL) is licenced by the UK Government to provide en route air traffic services in the UK.

The Air Traffic Services Licence (“Licence”) provides the basis upon which NERL is economically regulated by the CAA, principally through price controls that are imposed periodically in respect of its Licensed services. For further information, latest regulatory publications and access to the Licence visit the CAA’s website.

The CAA has published it’s Final Decision for the five-year NR23 regulatory period. Further information is available in our NR23 Business Plan section.
