The NATS Analytics team analyse data to provide insight and recommendations to our internal and external customers, enabling them to make the best decisions.
Our technical experts cover a wide variety of applications including:
Predicting and reporting. Prediction and reporting of regulated metrics which help company performance (e.g. environment, service and safety metrics);
Modelling and options. Modelling possible options, for example computing the most efficient airspace designs thus minimising the effort required by operational staff in costly real-time simulations and airport schedules to drive business decisions;
Getting the most from data. Helping teams across our business manage and understand their data to best effect.
We support almost every area within NATS, as well as external customers around the world via our commercial business. Our talented team’s subject matter expertise alongside experience in data, analytical tools and techniques allows us to provide sophisticated data insights and innovative solutions which improve performance and shape the future for NATS and the aviation industry.

One thing each member of the Analytics team has in common is that they work with interesting data, apply their analytical skills to real-world scenarios and enjoy seeing their work swiftly shaping data-driven decisions.
Apart from that, NATS Analytics is a happily diverse team – from a wide range of degree subjects and home towns through to demographics including an excellent gender split.
