NATS appoints new director to drive commercial business for new airspace users

NATS Services has appointed Richard Ellis as its New Airspace Users Director.

Richard will lead the team delivering services and technology-based products to customers around the world, focusing on drones and eVTOL operations, integrated traffic management solutions and high altitude and space users as the market develops.

Richard brings with him a wealth of business development and leadership experience, joining NATS from the Unified Traffic Management (UTM) company, Altitude Angel where he was Chief Business Officer.

Before that he was VP Worldwide Customer Success at AirMap, a global leader in airspace management software systems for drones. Richard’s earlier career covered a variety of senior leadership and commercial roles across a range of industries.

Richard Ellis joins NATS as its New Airspace Users Director.
